In addition to providing currency exchange, as well as service in both of Canada's official languages, The Ambassador Duty Free Store serves as an "ambassador" by providing information on attractions throughout Ontario.
Our friendly, knowledgeable and helpful staff will assist you with all of your shopping needs. We know you'll find your stop at The Ambassador Duty Free Store to be an enjoyable and cost-saving way to shop. To maintain our efficiency and convenience for shoppers, we've installed an on-site banking machine and a state-of-the-art system that allows for expedient processing of credit cards and debit cards.
Personal Exemptions
- Except for restricted items, you can bring back any amount of goods as long as you are willing to pay the duties and any provincial amounts that apply.
- The word "duties" includes duty, excise taxes. It does not include provincial sales tax.

After a minimum stay of 48 hours, you may bring back the following in alcohol and tobacco:

The following conditions apply to tobacco and alcohol products:
- You must be 19 years of age in order to purchase any tobacco products.
- You must be 21 years of age to purchase any alcoholic beverages.
- All tobacco and alcoholic beverages have to accompany you in your hand or checked luggage.
