I commend the authors
of the Bridge History .It is well written lucid and informative. The
accompanying pictorial galleries are also excellent. This is without
doubt one of the best web pages I have come across --It came to my attention
through Yahoo's picks of this week.

Never knew there was an Ambassador Bridge. Very interesting and informative.

Great view of the
bridge last night during the fireworks !. This has truly become a symbol
of the friendship between Canada and the U.S.A.

I was born in Highland
Park Gen Hospital in 1953. Even though I have never lived in Detroit,
we had traveled there extensively from New Hampshire to Detroit. My
grandparents had a cottage in Leamington. The Bridge is my favorite
bridge ever. I was graciously given a book on the history of the Bridge.
I look for anything on the Bridge. I would love to have photos of the
Bridge for the wallpaper on my Computer.
Thanks.

I have crossed this
bridge many times to travel from London, Ontario to a baseball or football
game in Detroit. I think this is a marvelous idea and should be expanded
by labeling the location of past and present important sites in relation
to the bridge.

I was delighted
to find this site; it brought back great memories. In Feb. 1965, I was
a senior at Indiana University (Bloomington) and drove with a friend
to Detroit for a job interview. (Nope, did not get the job.) We did
some sightseeing and drove into Canada over the Ambassador Bridge. There
was a cemetery near the bridge on the Canadian side; we stopped there
and I took pictures of the bridge. One of my photos, with a tombstone
or two in the foreground and the bridge in the background, won 3rd place
at the Lake County Fair (Indiana) that year. I still have the mounted
photo.
