About Electronic Toll Collection

Note: You must enroll in the E.T.C (Electronic Toll Collection) to receive an RFID Tag.

The Ambassador Bridge and the Federal Inspection Services of the United States is proud to announce an electronic clearance system designed to increase speed and convenience for travelers at the Ambassador Bridge. Our goal ultimately is to allow seamless crossing of the border by safe, legal and compliant traffic.

The project includes:

• Dedicated traveler lanes for both directions
• Electronic Toll Collection (RFID Tag)

The above program will use a common electronic device called an RFID Tag. The RFID tag affixes to the top left side of the windshield of your automobile. This allows for fast and efficient passage.
